Child Abuse and Vaccines

You might think a post entitled "Child Abuse and Vaccines" would speak about how many antivaxxers consider vaccines to be abuse and how they feel any child who is subjected to vaccines is somehow harmed.  In truth, I wish this was that type of post, but unfortunately that may have to come at another time.

Instead, this post focuses on Lowell Hubbs and his continual desire to discuss the sexual abuse of children.  This has been a frequent subject of Mr. Hubbs in the past (more than a few times), but I thought he had moved on to less upsetting subject matter.  I never intended to discuss this subject on a blog that surrounds antivaxxers and vaccine conspiracy theorists, but unfortunately Mr. Hubbs continues to somehow bring the subject back time and time again, so forgive me for veering off-topic.

I mentioned in a previous post that I have concerns about people who seem to be obsessed with children and who display a lack of meaningful relationships in their adult lives, but some information that was recently submitted here serves as evidence that Mr. Hubbs may not be exactly what he claims to be.

For instance, based upon a tip I recently visited the Facebook page of Mr. Hubbs, and I was immediately presented with a banner image of young children holding hands, running, and playing.  That in itself isn't all that significant, but then I noticed what Mr. Hubbs has listed in the Work and Education section of his profile:

Yes you are reading that correctly.  Mr. Hubbs lists himself as a "Child Videographer" for an organization which manufactures and distributes "under eighteen adult oriented imagery and video content".  In fact that specific organization was involved with the manufacture and distribution of actual child pornography.

I'm not sure what would bring someone to post that type of information, or if they think it is some sort of joke although I did note that information was found on his Facebook page for several days all the while he had been posting dozens and dozens of articles and commenting on numerous other posts, so call me skeptical at his attempts to use the old excuse of "black hat hackers" taking over his account.

Once Mr. Hubbs realized several people had commented on his work history, and once a link was provided showing the true nature of "LS Magazine" he quickly and silently removed it from his page, without so much as an explanation.

Of course Mr. Hubbs wasn't done yet.  In some vain attempt to divert attention away from himself, he immediately submitted the following images and comment to his Facebook page:

I really am not sure what is going on here, but it seems Mr. Hubbs is claiming the first image above shows a person named "Larry Eisenhour".  The truth is that image is a popular Internet meme which goes by the name of "Fat Emo".  A Google search will find dozens if not hundreds of variations of that very image, and rest assured the rather portly young man featured in the image is not named Larry Eisenhour, but is instead a teenager who is struggling with his new found Internet fame.

The second image is also a popular image online and appears at the top of the search results for "people with double chins".  I'm not sure why Mr. Hubbs would post this image and claim it is Larry Eisenhour's father, but once again claims being made by Mr. Hubbs don't appear to match reality.  At this point I'm fairly certain "Larry Eisenhour" is just another figment of Mr. Hubbs' imagination much like "Harley Manning" was in the past.

The third image posted by Mr. Hubbs is recognizable to most people above the age of 30, and is the actor Butch Patrick portraying the character Eddie Munster from the television show The Munsters.  How Mr. Hubbs thinks this is an abducted child is beyond me considering Mr. Patrick is now 59 years old and that particular image dates back from the mid 1960s.

How disconnected from reality does a person have to be to just start posting images and inventing cover stories in order to hide his own actions?  Once again Mr. Hubbs claims to have the name of someone involved in child porn and child abductions, and once again there doesn't appear to be any evidence to support his wild claims.  Once again he makes statements about hackers, but he is never able to offer any evidence that any hacking has occurred.  No police reports, no media coverage, no stories found on Google... just the words of a known conspiracy theorist who is desperately trying to deflect attention away from his own words and actions.

If there was any doubt surrounding the mental health of Mr. Hubbs or the dishonesty that surrounds so many of his claims, his own words should solidify his place as nothing more than a dishonest conspiracy theorist who seems to have an unhealthy obsession with children... and possibly 1960s sitcom stars.

I'm a big fan of "innocent until proven guilty", but I can promise you I would not entrust Mr. Hubbs with any young children.  There are simply too many red flags, too many unanswered questions, and too much evidence suggesting his continual obsession with children and his continual desire to talk about the sexual abuse of children goes far beyond a simple concern for their health and well-being.

With all of this in mind, and with clear evidence showing the blatant fabrications and dishonesty that flow out of Lowell Hubbs' mind, how can anyone trust this man to provide them with factual information pertaining to vaccines?  If a man will lie about child pornography, and if a man invents clever background stories using images he simply pulled from Google and attached names to, how can he ever be taken seriously?  Yet this is the very same man who is Facebook friends with some of the nations most infamous antivaxxers including people like Andrew Moulden and Sherri TenPenny, and the very same man who fellow antivaxxers thank for his contributions to their "cause".

Is there really any question why antivaxxers are never taken seriously and why their movement remains on the lunatic fringe?

What Inspires an Antivaccinationist?

A "friend" sent this to me the other day and it was simply too humorous to share.  If you look at the image below you will see a screen capture of Lowell Hubbs's facebook profile which shows that he has added Al Capone to his list of inspirational people.

I almost didn't believe this at first, so I checked myself... and sure enough there it was.  It sort of makes me wonder what Mr. Hubbs sees in Al Capone that might inspire him.  On one hand Mr. Capone was guilty of murdering numerous people including seven men during the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, while on the other hand Mr. Hubbs continually put lives at risk every time he stepped behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.

Mr. Capone was a well known criminal who spent time in a penitentiary, and Mr. Hubbs has spent his fair share of time behind bars as well

Mr. Capone was associated with underground alcohol sales, while Mr. Hubbs is associated with consumption of vast amounts of alcohol.

Mr. Capone was always looking over his shoulder due to the other gang leaders who were trying to kill him.  Mr. Hubbs seems to think he needs to look over his shoulder due to him believing people are trying to "take him out".

Later in life due to the effects of neurosyphilis, Mr. Capone was said to have the "mentality of a 12-year old child".  Mr. Hubbs could only be so lucky, but unfortunately for him he doesn't seem nearly as popular with the ladies.

I suppose if you are really against life saving vaccines and your only true purpose in life is to convince as many people as possible to forgo such vaccines resulting in them being in danger of contracting numerous diseases, then to some degree you are responsible for injuries and even deaths that result.  If that is your goal, then obviously you may be proud to have indirectly contributed to the deaths of other people much in the way Mr. Capone was happy to have his enemies killed in order to build his business.

Is this why Mr. Hubbs is "inspired" by Mr. Capone?

What does it really say about someone who looks up to a well-known murdering gangster and racketeer who suffered from syphilis for years until it resulted in severely diminished mental capacity?  If that is the type of person who inspires Mr. Hubbs, I think he has bigger personal issues than merely being scientifically ignorant.

Lowell Hubbs Caught Lying Yet Again

Recently, during one of his many rants claiming that "hackers" were responsible for messing with his blogger account, Mr. Hubbs repeated his claims about mystery blog posts randomly appearing on this blog.  He has mentioned this type of thing in the past, and Hubbs has a well known history of accusing "black hat hackers" of manipulating websites, hacking his email and mobile phone, and even installing "undetectable video cameras" to monitor his every move.

Thus, when Mr. Hubbs makes such a claim I file it in the mental recycle bin since I'm fairly certain these mystery hackers exist nowhere outside of Mr. Hubbs' own perverted mind.  That said, during one of his latest rants, I mentioned it might be a good idea for Mr. Hubbs to capture a screenshot of these supposed shenanigans so he could actually have some proof to support his claims.  In response to my statement, a few short days later I had this comment waiting for me from none other than Mr. Hubbs himself:

"I have a screen shot picture of your blogs latest findings. It may be there by use of an external hack script because it comes and goes, however that is unknown. The previous to this changed images were derogatory in your direction; this one being the opposite. My blogger account was hacked into about 2 pm today Sunday so will not be using that to reply, just in case they are in your account. If you have any replies that use my blogger account after that time today, you may be well advised that it was not me. http://i1131.photobucket.com/albums/m547/Wildman4402/blogImage.jpg" ~Lowell Hubbs
In case you are curious, here is the image that Mr. Hubbs hosted in his photobucket account:

To a casual observer this would seem pretty amazing.  Mr. Hubbs clearly has a screenshot of this very blog with not only a portion of a blog post which has never been published here, but also a completely new blog title which includes a splash of profanity.  However, if you look beyond the surface, Mr. Hubbs' story starts to fall apart.

First, there are a few things that scream "red flag" on this little image.  If you look at the blog shown on this image and compare it to the template currently in use on this blog you will note a number of differences.  Text locations are different and fonts seem to vary.  Another strange issue is that within the image Mr. Hubbs provided, the blogger bar that appears at the top of all blogger blogs is somehow not present.  Are we to believe that these "hackers" somehow decided they didn't want that bar to appear and therefore removed it?

The background image is also clipped resulting in one of the birds losing its head even though the scrollbar appears to be at the top of the page.  So is this merely a horrible cut and paste hack job, or is Mr. Hubbs trying to hide something?

Then there are the fine details.  What about that dotted line around the blog post?  That doesn't match the real blog.  The title text of Mr. Hubbs' version includes the semicolon directly after the last name "Hubbs" rather than a space between the two.  There is excess space between the title and the subtitle areas.  The post title is shown in black text rather than the red which is part of the real blog template.  The font sizes vary between the two.  Then there is the fact that the only blog post seen (we can only see the title) shows a posted date on the very same date that Mr. Hubbs captured the screenshot and the same day he left his comment.

Taken a step further, we can see the telltale signs of someone who lacks any grammatical knowledge including the overuse of exclamation points.  We see run-on sentences and misspelled words and a sentence structure which mirrors the broken and fractured writing style of Mr. Hubbs himself.

I also find it interesting that if you glance at the taskbar you will notice a blue and white icon which shows an active application.  That same icon appears on the right hand side of the screen in a tab, as well as in the system tray near the clock.  So what is that application you might ask?  It is called "TeamViewer" and the presence of the TeamViewer application suggests Mr. Hubbs is either controlling another remote computer, or he is allowing his computer to be remote controlled.

Sort of makes you wonder if Mr. Hubbs is trying to cover his tracks now doesn't it?  Perhaps he isn't capable of actually editing screenshots himself so he asked a friend to help - either way you must admit it seems a bit suspicious.

Add to the fact that the RSS feed for this blog doesn't show any new blog posts on November 20th.  This includes the RSS feed itself, and a RSS viewer that doesn't allow content removal... meaning if there was a blog post added to this blog I would surely have a record of it.  I suppose those "black hat hackers" must have hacked my RSS readers and RSS feed too right?  Not likely.

I note I didn't receive an alert that any content was added to the blog like I normally would, I didn't get a notification a new post was added, I never witnessed any of these mysterious changes to the template layout, I didn't even get an email about the new post... all things that would have occurred if a new post was actually added to this blog, and all things Mr. Hubbs couldn't fake since he doesn't have my contact information.

Am I really supposed to believe that someone would hack this blog, add content, totally change the entire blog template including titles, subtitles, fonts, sizes, colors, text placements etc... and then quickly remove all of the changes before I happen to notice?  Does that seem at all logical?

However the best part is that when Mr. Hubbs created this little image and then pasted it on top of the actual blog page in order to make it appear it was hosted on this blog he made one very fatal error.  He forgot to change the tab on his browser window to match the fabricated blog title he pasted in the window - and these two items cannot be unlinked within blogger, thus if the title doesn't match the browser tab... the image is a FAKE

If you look closely, you will note the URL shown in the browser bar is the actual URL to this blog and the title of the tab is the original (correct) blog title... right down to the space before and after the colon, yet Mr. Hubbs failed to modify the tab to match the title he created on the blog page itself, which proves once again that Mr. Hubbs will resort to blatant lies and fabrication in support of his agenda.

The saddest part of Mr. Hubbs little fraud here is that he actually had to create that blog page on one of his blogs just long enough to publish it and capture a screenshot.  That means he not only wrote those things about himself, but he actually published them!  I have to ask... what type of demented soul writes those types of things about himself and takes the time to cut and paste a fake image together just so he can try and make it appear his crazy stories have some merit?  It sort of reminds me of Rathergate, but not nearly as well done.

Sorry Mr. Hubbs - it was a nice effort... but once again you've been busted and proven to be a liar and a complete fraud.  When will you learn?

More Broken Promises From Lowell Hubbs

About a month ago (October 14, 2011 7:48 PM to be specific), Lowell Hubbs left the following comment on a previous blog post:

"Watch me get bailed out next week on a million dollar bail, if you think nothings [sic] true! Keep watchin [sic] the news."  ~ Lowell Hubbs
Well, I must say I was curious, but once again it appears to have been just another broken promise from Mr. Hubbs as nothing ever came to fruition and to the best of my knowledge Mr. Hubbs has not been in the news lately.

I'm not sure what he thought was going to happen or if he was planning on a major crime spree, but perhaps even more comical than Mr. Hubbs' growing list of broken promises is the fact he somehow feels he is capable of finding the financial resources to get bailed out when the bail itself is a million bucks. Seriously? I'm pretty sure a $1,000 bond would be out of his range, so how he feels he can come up with seven figures is beyond me.

Hey maybe I'm wrong... maybe meat packing plants pay better than I thought?

Lowell Hubbs's Personal Website Seized by Homeland Security!

Lowell Hubbs likes to scour the Internet for random conspiracy theories, unscientific opinion, and just random ramblings of fellow antivaxers... and when he finds this information, he likes to upload it to his personal website (using the ironically named "lowellsfacts.com").  Aside from the oxymoron in the URL itself, the website was a treasure trove of nonsense which any sane or rational person would avoid once they spent more than 15 seconds on it and realized what it was.

So the bottom line is, Mr. Hubbs's website was really nothing more than a joke.  It has never been a reputable source of information and other than Mr. Hubbs himself I'm not sure anyone was a regular visitor (even Mr. Hubbs's fellow conspiracy theorists have standards apparently).

So I must admit it came as a surprise when I was told his website had been seized by the US government (specifically Homeland Security) and it now displays a seizure notice on his homepage with a generic message about copyright infringement and counterfeit goods.

As of today, his website looks like this:

Now it stands to reason that because nothing on his website was actually Mr. Hubbs's own work (but rather information and data he had 'borrowed' from others without offering credit) that the site could be shut down for copyright infringement, but the reality is that is less than probable since there are literally millions of other websites that do the exact same thing.

So why would the US government be interested in Mr. Hubbs's website?  Sources (and yes that is plural Mr. Hubbs as in "more than one source") tell me it may have more to do with pornography... specifically child pornography.  Considering how often Mr. Hubbs has discussed that very topic in his various messages on this very blog and how often he has accused others of being involved in such activity (textbook example of deflection and/or projection on his part), such accusations don't really shock me in the slightest.

Of course who really knows.  Mr. Hubbs claims it was all due to "hackers" who inserted porn links into his website (where have we heard that before) and then he also claims it may be people who want to "silence the truth", but aside from a few dozen excuses and more clever stories invented by Mr. Hubbs I really don't see anything which explains the situation.

What we do know is Mr. Hubbs once again finds himself on the wrong side of the law, and once again involved in something that he claims is all some massive conspiracy to silence the truth.  I'm not a naive person, so I generally consider Occam's razor (the simplest explanation is most likely correct) which basically means we ignore the continual excuses and see Mr. Hubbs for what he is... a common criminal with a personal fetish for vaccine conspiracy theories who may or may not have a hobby that involves kiddie porn.

Hey - draw your own conclusions, but with evidence like this stacking up day after day it doesn't look like it is very difficult to eliminate the alternate possibilities.

Off the Deep End... Or Worse!

Warning: The following post contains quotes containing excessive profanity as well as accusations of sexual abuse involving children which can be offensive to some readers.  Discretion is advised.

I've spoken of Mr. Hubbs questionable mental stability in the past, but after his most recent comments I can only assume Mr. Hubbs has suffered a severe mental break.  I can think of no other possible way any man is capable of posting the comments he has submitted recently, nor can I understand how anyone of sound mind is capable of fabricating and inventing such wild stories.

There is such as thing as a vivid imagination, but when such an imagination involves discussion of sexual abuse to children it crosses the line from questionable to downright disturbing, disgusting, and appalling.  One of Mr. Hubbs first comments was the following:

"Hey Costner! Costner 360 Logging into Harley Manning Porn File on local C drive. Costner 360 signed into yahoo.com H Manning open new email compose- Subject (Fuck you Harley) Body ENCPTD Harley Manning signing into Costner360 account. Theres much more! There sure are allot of names logging into that onion router he has to secretly access all that child porn and all the other site stuff he accesses. I would shut this blog down if I were you. You all belong in prison, you lying hypocrite." ~Lowell Hubbs
Now I won't even begin to assume the type of people who associate with Mr. Hubbs, but he has commented on this "Harley Manning" in the past so there is obviously some connection there.  I searched for the name and found an address as well as a phone number here, and from what I can tell that is the only Harley Manning living anywhere near Sioux Falls.  Based upon Mr. Hubbs wild accusations I also searched criminal databases as well as sex offender registries but was unable to find any entry for anyone by that name in any of them.

I did find an entry for a Kenneth Manning, but he is currently incarcerated in Springfield and has been since 1996, and there were no other Mannings listed.  Therefore I cannot say who this person is that Mr. Hubbs seems so fond of that he mentions him time and time again, although it does appear that person is not a convicted felon or sex offender.  Why do I mention the sex offender angle?  Read on:
[...] "I can see when you are accessing the Porn Folder on local C Drive of Mr. Harley J. Mannings computer system. Are you aware of that Mr. Manning is a convicted sex offender who has ratted out over 20 people to avoid years in prison, and that he still does what he did then today, right under the nose of the feds? Do you know he has a direct log in to the FBI? Do you not think he will take you down with him, if and when he is caught? How about all those pictures and videos he uploading to the underage porn site [redacted]? Who is that he is spoofing the sick images of and uploading that on? I know; all with the help of his just as sick crew. Do you know that Harley was in the presents of at their house, two 6th grade girls, [redacted] and [redacted]? 11 years old. Conversation, "sorry my mother came home" What; did he excape out the window? How bad would that look! More conversations where Harley calls [redacted] "Sweetheart", and she calls him "Hun". Harley, "Sorry Im busy, Ill email you later", knowing he was buzzed in on). Who are all those people it lists by name? Is that their real names?" ~Lowell Hubbs
Ok for the record I took it upon myself to redact the girl's names because if Mr. Hubbs statements have any connection to reality and they are real girls then I see no reason  to cause any further emotional trauma to them.  Second I have redacted the name of the website that Mr. Hubbs refers to as an "underage porn site" because frankly I have no idea what that website is, but if it does have something to do with underage porn I sure as hell am not about to visit it, mention it here, or share it with others.  Frankly if Mr. Hubbs has any knowledge of such activity then he has a moral and ethical obligation to report this to the police as soon as possible.  In fact if he allows it to continue unchecked without reporting it, then he is personally responsible for any future abuse that may occur not to mention the mental harm which could come to these girls if they are not helped.

However, in reality I doubt these two girls even exist.  As stated previously there is no Harley Manning listed in the sex offender registry, so the one statement that can actually be verified has been proven to be false.  It would seem in some sick twist, Mr. Hubbs had the desire to shift the conversation away from vaccines and his random conspiracy theories and instead he would rather talk about kiddie porn and sexual abuse.

Now are you starting to understand why I accuse Mr. Hubbs of suffering from a mental break, because no sane and rational person would ever wish to shift a conversation to child pornography or sexual abuse which tells us that either Mr. Hubbs is a sick and disgusting pervert... or he has a severe mental defect.  Your guess is as good as mine.

Of course the comments only seem to get more disturbing from there:
"You don't want to admit it nor address the fact that you and Sugardealer operate right in the middle of a large porn underage sex ring, with Harley manning as the Kingpin. She is right in there as well. I have always said it, you deny everything and everything and you always will. If you do not care about the harm that comes to children and teens in that situation it is highly unlikely you care about the harm done by vaccines either. I know it is you, and I have now complete proof that it is you. You are the sickest of the sick. And hey, noone was trying to hide anything, you are being mocked and harrassed, asshole!" ~Lowell Hubbs
Honestly... what else can you really say?  I think Mr. Hubbs disturbing words speak for themselves.  But wait... act now and we will throw in an additional bucket of crazy for no extra charge!
"Did you know that Harley Manning has an STD? He first went to the city site for STD support, and then he went online to Walgreens and ordered his prescription for HPV/HIV treatment medication. Would you like the number he ordered? So, in other words he is going to the home of 2, 6th grade girls and apparently having sex with them and putting them at risk for HIV....WOW. His buddy asked Harley, how was the kid? And he replied, GooOOd! And this guy is still on the street??? And he is your buddy! I think neither he nor you should be walking around free at all. You both belong in prison, and him for life! He hacked into the interface of the Argus for you last weekend, as well as godaddy, and then as well the payroll system of Command Labor, nationwide. I watched him run the DNS attacks! I watched the sytems go down on godaddy, and nothing could be saved nor published for hours, as well as the Argus. In 3 calls to godaddy it was clear what was happening. Hey Costner, if you are so right , why do you need resort to that kind of bullshit? Harley is very dangerous and sick man on all sides of it. He is a fat pussy, that can not be trusted when he has the opportunity to do what he does. Do you think you can handle what you know is out there? Or me? Just wait until he sees the new blog I just may create on him, with all of his previous charges photocopied. Then he will wish he never put what he did on that sick site, [redacted]. He should have left it alone, and not gone where he did; because he is the one with so much to lose when everyone knows. Stupid on his part. He thinks he is invincible, due to his ratting all those people out to no end, and the resulting favor by the feds. However, his time will come. I can tell you the proof is right in my hands what he has done, and clearly we know what you have done. If you were honest about what you do, your IP wouldn't be hidden linked into a sex ring. You are a real piece of shit!" ~Lowell Hubbs
Now obviously Mr. Hubbs' goal here is to try and link me to this Mr. Manning, but what I find rather disturbing is how Mr. Hubbs seems to have so much detail about Mr. Manning's actions including the fact that he has or had a STD as well as very specific details about sexual abuse including conversations that have been had about the alleged activity.  Add that to the most recent comment he added to this site here, and I'm actually left speechless.

On what planet is it acceptable to know that sexual abuse is occurring and remain silent?  On what planet does someone who claims to actually care about the well being of children allow this type of thing to happen and NOT report it to the proper authorities?  On what planet does someone think making a threat about a "new blog" is acceptable but they won't get their own lazy ass off the couch long enough to CONTACT THE POLICE!  Now I don't want to go on a rant here, but Mr. Hubbs has reached a new level of disgusting with his recent posts and if he even suspects 10% of what he claims is happening then he had better be placing a call and providing everything he knows to law enforcement ASAP.  To even suspect sexual abuse is occurring or that there is known involvement with child pornography occurring and to sit back and not do anything about it reaches a whole new level of disturbing.

It was never my intention to allow this blog to be a holding place for all of Mr. Hubbs dellusions, rambling incoherent nonsense, unsupported accusations, or byproducts of mental disease, nor was it ever my intention to discuss the subject of child pornography.  However when Mr. Hubbs starts making such simply unbelievable accusations  - especially when those accusations involve underage children in revolting, compromising positions... I feel it is necessary to document his behavior for all to see so that anyone who interacts with Mr. Hubbs has a complete understanding of the types of ideas floating around in his head.

If you want to be disgusted, appalled, outraged, and repulsed... it would appear that Mr. Hubbs is your man.

More Legal Problems for Mr. Hubbs

We have discussed some of Mr. Hubbs legal problems in the past to show how Mr. Hubbs seems to have a split personality.  One one hand he proclaims that "big pharma" is evil and that all drugs as well as vaccines are harmful, but on the other hand he seems to have no issue with taking (and abusing) multiple prescription medications nor does he have an issue with "self-medicating" with massive amounts of alcohol.

Does that seem a tad harsh for me to accuse Mr. Hubbs of self-medicating?  It might if but for the fact that Mr. Hubbs used those very words himself.  In fact, Mr. Hubbs was actually quoted as saying his DUIs were a result of him "self medicating [his] anxiety disorder".

So when the law finally caught up with Mr. Hubbs and arrested him for multiple DUIs, did that turn him around and help him pull his life together?  Did Mr. Hubbs admit fault and accept responsibilities for his actions?  Not exactly... he merely blamed his behavior on his need to self-medicate.

Ask any alcoholic or addict and they will give you a laundry list of excuses on why they do what they do, so when Mr. Hubbs says he was self-medicating his anxiety disorder it doesn't really shock me in the slightest, especially when such an excuse comes from a hypocrite.

It appears there is a pattern of behavior emerging with Mr. Hubbs, and it doesn't end with alcohol abuse alone.  In fact, several years ago Mr. Hubbs was arrested for shoplifting nutritional supplements from Shopko, and it appears this wasn't his first incident of shoplifting.  Case in point:

"I was arrested for shoplifting nutritional supplements; which had become a compulsion; I just got more daring and brave, with each time I got away with it." ~ Lowell Hubbs
So based upon Mr. Hubbs own admission he had a "compulsion" for shoplifting which continued right up until the point he was apprehended by a Shopko loss prevention manager and handed over to the police.  So when Mr. Hubbs was caught shoplifting do you think he finally took this as an opportunity to admit fault and to change his lifestyle?  No... instead - he blamed his actions upon his prescribed medications (namely Paxil and Alprazolam).

That might not seem like such a huge stretch since people do often have strange side effects from prescriptions especially when mixed with alcohol, and considering Mr. Hubbs track record with alcohol consumption and his admitted reliance upon alcohol for "self-medication" purposes... who knows what the impact might be.  However, Paxil warning information specifically states to avoid taking it with alcohol, and since I doubt Mr. Hubbs was ever prescribed a 12 oz. can of Budweiser along with his daily dose of Paxil, we can once again clearly state that Mr. Hubbs has no one to blame for his legal troubles other than himself.

Even more shocking is the fact that several weeks prior to his apprehension for shoplifting, Mr. Hubbs was arrested for stealing a bicycle.  The irony is thick with this one since Mr. Hubbs has been known to accuse others of stealing his bikes, so aside from the obviously and oh-so-apparent karma, it would seem that once again Mr. Hubbs is nothing other than a hypocrite.  A self-medicating felon of a hypocrite, but a hypocrite nevertheless.

So what was Mr. Hubbs' excuse when he was arrested for stealing the bike?  You guessed it... he stood right in front of a judge and had his lawyer state that his medication had been prescribed improperly.  He didn't accept responsibility for his actions and obviously didn't learn from the experience considering he was shoplifting a few short weeks later.

In yet another example of how Mr. Hubbs refuses to accept responsibility for his actions, rather than admitting his mistake and learning from it, he actually complained that the punishment far exceeded the crime itself when he made the following statement:

"For a $15 bike, it cost me 10 days in jail, $300 some odd dollars in fines and jail costs, and several hundred for my attorney" ~ Lowell Hubbs
Even through all of that, Mr. Lowell Hubbs never learned a lesson.  He never admitted fault, he never turned his life around, and he continued to abuse prescription drugs combined with alcohol.  How do I know this?  Simple... in the following years after the events described above, Mr. Hubbs was arrested, charged and convicted of two more DUIs.  I guess some people are just really slow learners.

So of course like any good recovering addict would do, Mr. Hubbs finally decided it was time to face his demons.  He was finally determined to find the root cause of all his troubles and address it head on.  He was going to make life changes, accept responsibility for his actions, turn his life around and finally improve his situation.  Oh wait... that is what a normal person would have done, and if you know Lowell Hubbs he is far from a normal person.

So what did Mr. Hubbs really do?  Well, he did what any good addict with an extensive criminal record does - he sued the makers of Paxil!

The case is Bauerle et al v. Smithkline Beecham Corporation and the lead case is 4:04-cv-04187-LLP.  A certain Lowell Hubbs at 400 S. Prairie #9 Sioux Falls, SD 57104 was listed in that case as well and was represented by none other than A. Russell Janklow.

Eventually the case was transferred in 2005 and rolled into a larger case against the makers of Paxil.  The case then became Lesli Hamilton, et al. vs Glaxosmithkline, Inc. with the lead case being 2:03-ml-01574-MRP.  I won't bore you with the details, but here is a brief summary of the result:

JOINT STIPULATION AND ORDER DISMISSING WITH PREJUDICE CLAIMS OF IDENTIFIED PLAINTIFFS by Judge Mariana R. Pfaelzer: Plaintiffs listed below hereby dismiss with prejudice all of their claims against Defendant regarding its drug Paxil: (1) Rose M Bauerle; (2) Lowell Kevin Hubbs; (3) Dean Dorian Price; (4) Chad Jon Singsaas; (5) Lisa Lindner Sweeney-Nicol; (6) Kimberly Winger. Each party to bear their own costs, pursuant to FRCP 41(a). This Document Relates to Bauerle 2:05-cv-02185 MRP (CWx).(bg, ) (Entered: 12/27/2006)
If you wish to read more about the case, you can do so right here.

So long story short, the case was settled in late 2006.  I won't bother to post the entire 26 page legal brief (although I can email it upon request), but basically it appears there was some form of settlement between Mr. Hubbs (including the other plaintiffs) and Glaxosmithkline (GSK).  So what does Mr. Hubbs have to say about all of this?  Read for yourself:
"We walked away six years later with an out of court settlement, and an across the board GSK denial, and about $20,000 each; (minus the law firms cut)." ~ Lowell Hubbs
Now keep in mind that the lawsuit was based upon the claim that Paxil caused addiction, but there was never anything in any of the testimony or court records to suggest that Paxil causes people to steal bikes from behind Casinos or to self-medicate with massive amounts of alcohol or to drive while intoxicated or to mix alcohol with anti-depressants or to go on shoplifting sprees just because they feel like it.

Mr. Hubbs is simply the type of person who will always look elsewhere when it comes time to determine who is to blame for his own issues.  It is always the fault of someone else or a side effect of a drug he took.  His four convictions for driving under the influence weren't his fault, nor was the shoplifting or theft.  This is why Lowell Hubbs has become the anti-mainstream medicine zealot he has become.  This is why he continually blames "big pharma" for anything and everything and why he has a personal vendetta against modern medicine and pharmaceuticals.

The fact is, Mr. Hubbs' continual legal problems were never caused by a drug company or a retail store.  They were never caused by a pill or a vaccine.  They were never the fault of a police officer, loss prevention agent, or warden nor were they the result of omitted warning labels.  Mr. Hubbs legal problems have always been caused by one thing and one thing alone - Mr. Hubbs himself.

So the next time you witness Mr. Hubbs rail against modern medicine or against "big pharma", just remember this whole illusion is based upon the precept that Mr. Hubbs believes he is not responsible for his own actions.  That makes perfect sense if you are the type who believes in government mind control or 9/11 conspiracy theories, so it stands to reason Mr. Hubbs would believe it.

But hey... there is some good news to be taken from all of this.  Due to Mr. Hubbs' financial settlement with GSK he can afford to buy his own bikes for a change instead of stealing them from others.

Another Bucket Full of Crazy Straight From Lowell Hubbs

A True Black Hat Hacker
Mr. Hubbs is a big fan of this blog and tries to post comments several times a week, however as I don't really want 2500 character comments full of random conspiracy theorist websites or profanity laced threats I've turned on comment moderation to prevent him from posting dozens of comments on each and every blog post I write.

However, as I've mentioned in the past, Google has been automatically flagging all of his comments as spam so there really isn't anything for me to do.  I'm not sure if it is due to the length of his comments, the use of profanity, or the number of websites, but for one reason or another when I check to see what comments are left to be moderated his responses are always in the spam folder.  Don't let anyone ever tell you  that Google isn't smart.

In any case, ever once in a while Mr. Hubbs says something that even shocks me, and this is one of those times.  Therefore, I have decided to post one of his comments here in all its glory because something like this deserves to be shared with the world:
"With limits I will tell you this, and without doubt you likely already know. You claim it is all BS; but you sure are digging for information? Coincidence? Or some thing more. The police were contacted several times. There was a witness in my building who seen five of them there, initially. They were there. That person was terrified. Guess what, Im NOT. The people involved cover their tracks as far a communication with me, as well as their activites quite well. Thats why there was nothing much to take to the police. You seen the copy of that executed script, I am sure of that. Later, all three people at Sanford were named by the same person who sent that script. Do you think I could even begin to make that up, or fabricate that shit. There would be no reason, motive, nor benefit to even waste the time. By the way do you even know what a NetGear Firewall is, it can be used to harrasse people and make websites inaccessible or it can used to block view of a website while a hacker does his work within it. Are you just pretenting to be ignorant, and just to get a reply you want? As far as why hasn't my site been hacked; I am always on a heavily protected system when I add or edit anything on that site. As far as, then why am I still alive? You know why! And it is fact $10,000 cash, 25,000 on completion. And I have had contact with the perpetrators from day one. Sure is a mystery isn't it!"  -Lowell Hubbs
In the interest of full disclosure, I have not edited this comment in any way. It still includes the same spelling and grammatical errors and is exactly as submitted. This particular comment was entered on the "Lowell Hubbs Responds" post, but it was flagged as spam and added to the spam comments folder (rightfully so it seems).

In any case I wanted to post it here as I felt it includes a few nuggets worth discussing. First we see that Mr. Hubbs does claim he has contacted the police, so that is a start.  However his next sentence is a little blurry as it claims "There was a witness in my building who seen [sic] five of them there, initially." which based upon the previous sentence suggests five police officers, but since the police don't generally send five officers to a silly complaint from a conspiracy theorist, I'm going to go ahead and assume Mr. Hubbs is referring to five people who want to silence Mr. Hubbs.

Now I know that seems like a stretch because why would five people pay a visit to Mr. Hubbs?  However this is the mind of a conspiracy theorist at work here, so we can't expect it to sound logical.  He then goes on to talk about 'scripts' being sent to him and three people from Sanford being named, but I'm not about to try to figure out what he is rambling on about.  It would seem that Mr. Hubbs feels that Sanford Health is somehow involved in this plot to silence him or that they are somehow connected to hackers and hitmen, but that type of accusation would only make sense to a fellow conspiracy theorist so I'm just going to ignore it and move on as I don't feel it is even worthy of a response.

The next few sentences of Mr. Hubbs' response is where things really start getting comical. First of all Mr. Hubbs appears to believe that a Netgear Firewall (a piece of equipment that can be purchased from any electronics retailer) allows someone to hack websites and harass people via the Internet.  Am I the only one that wonders why Mr. Hubbs would know the brand name of the equipment used to "hack" him?  That being said, without getting into technical jargon, it is more than obvious that Mr. Hubbs is clueless when it comes to topics of technology, the Internet, hacking, and computers.

First of all, a firewall is a firewall - it would not by itself allow someone to infiltrate the computer or website of another person.  It merely controls traffic through itself, so unless someone installed a firewall onto a server that happens to host that particular website or hacked an existing firewall that hosts that website, there is no validity to Mr. Hubbs' claims.  Now it stands to reason that every website hosting company on the planet uses firewalls among other security measures, but I dare say none of them are using residential grade equipment from Netgear to do so.  Instead they will use commercial grade firewalls and equipment that is much more robust such as those developed by Cisco which rely heavily upon intrusion detection software and use technologies such as dynamic filtering to determine which data packets are sent through and which are rejected.

Long story short, Mr. Hubbs obviously heard the terms "Netgear firewall" used in the past and somehow feels if he mentions those terms it will make him sound intelligent.  Dare I say in this case it has proven to have the opposite effect, but I digress.

The simple truth is, Mr. Hubbs shows his ignorance time and time again when he makes comments like "I am always on a heavily protected system when I add or edit anything on that site".  The fact of the matter is, if someone wishes to hack a website it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the system a person uses to update that website.  Websites are hosted on servers that are controlled by hosting companies and they are not stored on local PCs or workstations, because if that was the case every time someone shut down their PC that particular website would be inaccessible to everyone else.

Now I don't feel like trying to explain all of this to Mr. Hubbs, but for example his personal website www.lowellsfacts.com is not stored on his own personal PC. A simple "whois" search will tell us that his website is managed by GoDaddy.com which means the website is stored on their hosting servers.  In fact the IP address of the server is 72.167.131.10 and the server itself is located in Scottsdale, Arizona.  A man by the name of Lowell Hubbs registered this website on December 20th, 2008 and paid for one year of hosting, which he renewed in December 2009 for another year.

Note to Mr. Hubbs: You might want to consider renewing your site via GoDaddy as it expires on December 20th, 2010 and I wouldn't want you to lose all of your valuable information!

Thus, if a hacker wished to manipulate Mr. Hubbs' silly website, it would merely be a case of infiltrating the GoDaddy server and either deleting the website, redirecting it elsewhere, or modifying the content.  Since nobody has done this (and because this would be a fairly easy thing to do with a hacker with even a moderate level of skill), it stands to reason that nobody cares enough about Mr. Hubbs to bother.  In fact a simple DNS attack could render his website totally inaccessible, and nobody has even bothered to do that much as far as I can tell.  If nobody cares enough to bother with his website, then it also stands to reason nobody cares enough to follow him around, make threats against his life, or otherwise pick on him for no good reason.

This is why I have stated that Mr. Hubbs should seek the assistance of a licensed mental health professional as it is more than obvious he suffers from paranoia and persecutory delusions.  That is proven yet again when he speaks of the price paid to take him out. I have a hard time keeping up with the random figures tossed out, but it seems now Mr. Hubbs is claiming someone has paid $10,000 cash up front, and another $25,000 upon the job being completed. That is a total of $35,000 which tells us one thing and one thing only - that Mr. Hubbs has far too high of an opinion of himself.

First of all, what hit man of any intelligence would tell Mr. Hubbs all of these details?  Second, if Mr. Hubbs knows all of these details and has been in contact with the "perpetrators", why wouldn't he take this information to the police?  Third, with an unemployment rate of around 10% in this nation and people struggling to pay the bills, why hasn't someone stepped up to accept the job and collect an easy $35,000?  I think we all know the answer - and it is because Mr. Hubbs is delusional.

The only thing I really don't understand is why Mr. Hubbs feels I know why he is still alive, because quite honestly if what he says is true I have no idea.  However, because I know Mr. Hubbs is a fan of fabricating stories and sensationalizing the truth I can say with the utmost certainty that only reason Mr. Hubbs is still alive is because there is no mythical hit man, there is no contract on his head, and Mr. Hubbs simply has a wild imagination.

With all of this said, is this the type of person people should be taking medical advice from?  If so, maybe there is something to that concept of darwinism, because if these morons are eliminated from the gene pool obviously the collective intelligence of the human race will increase and we will all be better off in the end.  Sure that might be a reach, but it makes a whole lot more sense that suggesting someone at Sanford Health is willing to pay $35,000 to take out a ex-con conspiracy theorist.

On the other hand, an extra $35,000 sure would be nice.  Hey Mr. Hubbs - would you care to share the name of the person who put out the contract?  I'd like to speak with them regarding some *ahem* employment opportunities*.  Is that wrong?

* It's a joke Mr. Hubbs, so please don't read into it.

Lowell Hubbs: Self-Medicating Criminal

Once you get to know Lowell Hubbs, you soon realize something is not quite right with the man.  Lowell is the type of guy who is against pretty much everything associated with modern medicine, science, the government, capitalism, and common sense.  We have already established the fact that Mr. Hubbs has been an admitted user of multiple medications including both Paxil and Xanax, but now he claims modern medicine has nothing to offer and he rallies against all mainstream medicine and pharmaceuticals .

So what does Mr. Hubbs use as a mood stabilizer now that he has sworn off prescription drugs to solve his admitted psychological problems?  You guessed it - man's oldest and most trusted substance for self-medicating... alcohol.

It appears Mr. Hubbs feels pills are evil, but alcohol is perfectly healthy.  So much so in fact, that Mr. Hubbs seems to have developed a little issue with alcoholism.  How else would you explain Mr. Hubbs' not one, not two, not three - but FOUR arrests for DUI in the state of South Dakota alone!

Now I'm the first to admit people make mistakes, and nobody (myself included) is perfect.  Many people have stepped behind the wheel when they have had a bit too much to drink, and many of these people are never caught.  However, if you drive drunk long enough and often enough, eventually law enforcement will catch up to you and you will be arrested for DUI.

For most people, that is where the story ends.  A person of even moderate intelligence will use their DUI arrest as a learning experience.  They will start arranging to have a designated driver available to them, they might call a friend or a cab when they need a ride, or they will limit their intake of alcohol to ensure they are not under the influence when they do decide to grab the car keys.  However, apparently that lesson wasn't easy for Lowell Hubbs to learn, because soon after his first arrest he was arrested and charged with his second DUI.

Ok so surely the second DUI is a bit more harsh.  A person can expect to spend some time behind bars, and a hefty fine along with having their license revoked for at least a short time.  Surely this would send such a strong message that a person would never even remotely consider driving under the influence again right?

Well if your name is Lowell Kevin Hubbs, you are obviously a slow learner, because even the second arrest and conviction was not enough to teach him a lesson.  Thus, once again Lowell found himself in handcuffs arrested for his third DUI in the state of South Dakota, and once again Lowell found himself behind bars after his conviction.

Now I won't claim to be an expert, but it seems Mr. Hubbs has a hard time with the concept of cause and effect.  However, since we can't all be rocket scientists, doctors, or even intelligent enough to understand the consequences of drinking and driving, maybe it just takes a bit longer for some people.  Maybe the third time really is the charm for Mr. Hubbs and maybe he will finally turn his life around.

Unfortunately for the other drivers who use the streets and highways in the state of South Dakota, Mr. Hubbs did not learn his lesson.  Sure enough, on October 2005 Mr. Hubbs was arrested once again for driving under the influence of his favorite medication (alcohol).  Once again Mr. Hubbs found himself in front of a judge, and once again he was convicted of the crime.

However, as this was his fourth known offense in South Dakota (it is quite possible he has charges in other states which were not reported as part of his latest arrest) this time Mr. Hubbs was going to be serving time in the South Dakota State Penitentiary for his crimes.  Thus, on March 21st, 2006 Mr. Hubbs was given a five year sentence in the big house with 18 months suspended, and once he was once again a free man he would be unable to have a drivers license for two years.

The fact that Mr. Hubbs has at least four convictions for DUI is not what is upsetting.  Simple logic dictates for every arrest Mr. Hubbs was involved in, he probably drove drunk dozens upon dozens of times where he wasn't caught.  Thus for all of the concern about others that Mr. Hubbs seems to profess, when it comes to his addictions all of those concerns go out the window.  To Mr. Hubbs, the convenience of him driving home is much more important than the safety or lives of other drivers or pedestrians around him, and as such he continued to drive drunk time and time again.

Of course Mr. Hubbs wasn't one to accept his fate, so in October 2009 he felt the need to waste the courts time by filing a writ of habeus corpus against the warden of the South Dakota State Penitentiary.  Granted his request was dismissed, but it serves as evidence that Mr. Hubbs is not the type of man who accepts responsibility for his actions, and obviously the type of man who is a very, very slow learner.

Thus, it can be only assumed that in time we will see yet another arrest for Mr. Hubbs as he clearly is unable to break away from the all-consuming power of his favorite elixir.  It seems although he is able to rally against pharmaceuticals and legal prescriptions, he has no trouble at all drinking a known depressant even though he has relied upon anti-depressants in the past.  Is it any wonder this man is so confused about the world around him when he cannot even break his grasp upon the bottle which has consumed so much of his life?

Now it should be noted that Mr. Hubbs will attempt to deny these facts and refuses to acknowledge his substance abuse issues because even he understands it has a detrimental impact to his already tarnished reputation and it all but destroys any shred of credibility he once had.  Thus it is necessary to display the following documents which prove all of these statements to be true and which prove once and for all that Mr. Hubbs is nothing but a convicted criminal, a fraud, and a proven alcoholic who cares about no one other than himself and his own pleasure.

Enjoy:
