Vaccine Ingredients: What You Should Know

Most vaccination conspiracy theorists have a habit of tossing out random statements to try and paint vaccines as harmful, even when it is blatantly obvious they have no idea what they are talking about and Lowell Hubbs is no exception.  They make statements about aluminum being in vaccines and how harmful it must be or they rail on against formaldehyde being found in vaccines (even in trace amounts).  In the past, they have gone out of their way to blame mercury for various neurological disorders up and and including autism although now that mercury has been pulled out of all childhood vaccines and even though the rates of autism have remained unchanged... they have suddenly swept that little gem under the rug as they shifted focus elsewhere.

Throughout all of these discussions, one point kept rising to the surface about all of the ingredients that anti-vaxxers complain about, and that is the fact that they don't appear to know what these ingredients actually do or why they are found in vaccines.  Instead, they simply read on one of their many anti-vaxxer websites that these ingredients are harmful, and the nonsense began to take hold.  They never actually bother to research the ingredients to determine why they are included or what function they hold.  They never even bother to determine at what quantities they can be found or how much of these ingredients are already found in the human body even before a single vaccine is administered.

Admittedly, telling someone you are going to inject them with aluminum or formaldehyde seems like a bad idea at face value, but once you know the facts about these ingredients it is an entirely different story.  In fact, most people may not even understand that the human body already contains chemicals such as formaldehyde even if that person has never had a vaccination in their life.  Also, vaccine conspiracy theorists try to suggest aluminum may be responsible for all types of neurological disorders or other medical issues, yet they have zero evidence to support that viewpoint.  I chalk these views up to simple ignorance about what aluminum really is and how the body reacts to it, but in the mind of a vaccine conspiracy theorist any form of metal has no reason to exist in the human body apparently.

I can only assume that vaccine conspiracy theorists conveniently ignore that the human body includes trace amounts of various metals and in fact relies upon these elements for proper function.  Take zinc for example.  Zinc is used for protein synthesis, it contributes to would healing, it contributes to a strong immune system, it has been found to help with memory, and even contributes to skeletal growth.  Then you have iron which is required for the production of hemoglobin and myoglobin.

Next you have copper.  Copper is required to help regulate blood pressure and helps with nerve function.  Chromium enhances the action of insulin as well as assists with carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism.  Magnesium helps maintain a strong immune system, helps maintain muscle and nerve function, and contributes to energy metabolism and protein synthesis.

As you can clearly see, the human body contains a various amount of metals and numerous other trace minerals.  In fact, the human body already contains trace amounts of aluminum, mercury, and even lead.  They key point here is that it is important to know and understand what levels are acceptable, and what levels could result in toxicity.  Any mineral including those mentioned here can be harmful to the human body if they are found in excessive quantities.  Obviously we all know iron is essential for many bodily functions, but if someone has excessive amounts of iron in their blood it can result in numerous side effects including weight loss, shortness of breath, nausea, and fatigue.

The phrase "all good things in moderation" comes to mind here.  Given in proper amounts, most minerals will not be harmful to humans, but obviously if excessive amounts are ingested there can and will be side effects.

Because of the common misunderstanding of what various vaccine ingredients are capable of, it seems some education is in order - and the following PDF file from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Vaccine Education Center does a fabulous job of explaining some of the basics in layman's terms that even the most prolific anti-vaxxer should be able to understand.

Of course the PDF also includes references for those who are interested in learning even more about the science behind vaccines and although most anti-vaxxers tend to ignore anything which requires independent research, some others might find those articles interesting as well.  It is a good read, and something everyone who has any interest in vaccine ingredients should take the time to review.

Vaccine Ingredients: What you should know

  1. Most of the people who claim vaccines are toxic point to one ingredient and then go out of their way to show how that ingredient is harmful in massive enough quantities. Well duh!

Of course EVERYTHING is harmful in enough quantities! Give someone enough aluminum or copper and yes it is harmful. Too much iron is harmful too! Too much sodium is harmful! Too much thimerosal/mercury is harmful! Too much vitamin B is harmful!

You know what? Too much dihydrogen minoxide is harmful too! In fact dihydrogen minoxide is responsible for thousands of deaths each year and can wreak havoc on the human body!

In the right quantity, none of these things are going to cause problems, but to say none of them should be injected into the body because of the side effects of 10,000x the recommended dosage doesn't jive.

  2. LBL the point about quantities is very valid and one I have made in the past. Mr. Hubbs rails on against thimerosal or aluminum or formaldehyde among other things, but fails to acknowledge the dosages we are referring to.

Many of the very ingredients he claims are toxic are already found in the human body in quantities far in excess of what is found in the vaccines he takes issue with.

All things in moderation. That is the key.

Now as far as dihydrogen monoxide, everyone knows it is incredibly harmful stuff. Not only is it responsible for killing more humans each year than any drug, but it also causes hundreds of million of dollars of property damage each year and is a primary component of acid rain. That stuff has also been found within tumors within the human body, and in a gaseous state it has been known to cause harmful burns to human skin.

So do you think it is a good time to let Mr. Hubbs know that dihydrogren minoxide is actually just a fancy way of saying H2O or water? I think I might have used the dihydrogen minoxide comparison on him in the past, but it is worth repeating to show how in excessive quantities almost anything can be deadly.

It is all about the proper ratio and context. Obviously if you inject 700ccs of aluminum in someone's vein you could expect to see some side effects from it. However an infact receives no more than around 4 milligrams from vaccines in the first six months of life.

Care to know how much aluminum those same infacts recieve if they are breastfeeding? 10 milligrams! If they are using formula they will get as much as 40 milligrams, and if they use soy based formula they can get 120 milligrams.

When is the last time you hear a vaccine conspiracy theorist decry infant formula or breast milk? They just don't get it - and they aren't smart enough to know the very ingredients they are complaining about are already found in the human body.

  3. I find it quite interesting Costner that the person LBL that you allowed to reply post here, has been paid to do that by the very sick head hacker and stalker, after me now for over 2 years. Do you want his name? You haven't a clue what goes on Costner. As well, LBL is the same person involved with hacking attempts to put that sick and fabricated child porn selection into your blog. You know the one; and I know you have seen it. I have seen it up here twice now, and it later disappears. Those pictures are all entirely fabricated! And those people need to go to jail. If I were you I would remove his reply post and your follow up reply as well. As well, in regard to what I see for information there in those replies is about as dumb and completely ignorant of the immune system, detoxification, and as well toxicology ...as it gets. Why is it as well Costner that you could not respond to any of this below? You understand that science so well, don't you? Admit it, you haven't a clue. As long as you can control the information it is all good for you and your b.s., right? Anyone can clearly see what happened to you on the Argus when you have no control of what is reply posted for facts. You clearly looked like either a demented stooge, or someone with allot of fake, knowing better, smokescreen of XXXXXXXX to put forth! If I wasn't actually good at what I do, no one including you would even be after me. You could have shut me down with your so solid facts and science. You know that. But you couldn't.

  4. Mr. Hubbs, I clipped the comment above to remove your link dump to unscientific sources because I'm not about to bother rehashing the same garbage time and time again.

Now as to the portion of your comment which remains, I'll gladly respond. You claim to know who LBL is and that is great. I have no idea who it is and can't tell you if it is a he or a she, but based upon a comment or two you seem to think you know so by all means give us a name.

That said, you always seem to call everyone a hacker or a stalker just as you accuse everyone of being involved in something related to child porn or a sex trafficking ring etc etc. Do yoyu ever have any proof of any of your claims? Nope. Time and time again your story changes but you are never able to prove a thing. Seems to me you are just trying to point the finger elsewhere to make yourself look better... but it isn't working.

As far as porn in my blog, I'm afraid you are looking at the wrong website Mr. Hubbs. I have never had any porn on this blog and I have no idea what you are talking about. You claim to have had issues with porn on your websites in the past but as far as I know you are making it all up... because again, you never have any proof.

So now about the Argus article you seem to be so proud of, you might want to go back and look to see how many people were agreeing with me, versus how many people were telling you to shut up. Now check to see the up and down votes... and be sure to factor in the fact that you vote for your own posts and against mine in your attempt to skew things.

I will admit you had one guy that seems to always agree with you, but looking at his recent comment he is also a guy who (like you) believes 9/11 was an inside job, so clearly he will believe any conspiracy theory known - so why would vaccines be any different? Sorry Hubbs... you're either in bad company, or perhaps you have created yet another username on the Argus website.

Either way Mr. Hubbs, I don't score things the same as you do. I realize you post more comments than anyone else, and I suppose in your view that means you always seem to win, but I don't go back to the same articles hour after hour because when it comes to quantity I'll admit it is difficult to keep up with you. Now as far as legitimate science, logic, valid arguments, unbiased sources, and overall quality... well I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you on your success there. Of course in this case (well let's be honest... in every case) it seems far more users agree that you're nuts. So lets just leave it there shall we?

Finally Mr. Hubbs... you aren't "good at what you do". If you were to rank cranks and quacks, someone like Dr. Mercola might be considered good at what he does. Sherri Tenpenny might be good at what she does. Hell even Wakefield and Jenny McCarthy might be good at what they do... but you sir - you're not really good at anything other than humoring me and those who know you or have interacted with you.

Frankly Mr. Hubbs, I'm not sure you understand how other people see you. Nobody respects you as an authority. Nobody considers you an expert. Nobody looks up to you. You are a punchline to an ongoing joke and everyone who has interacted with your or commented here (and elsewhere where I have seen you comment) seems to agree.

Sorry Hubbs - you might be a legend in your own mind, but to the rest of the world you are just another underemployed, ex-con, anti-government conspiracy theorist who has an interesting hobby.

Don't ever change though... you make a lot of people smile on a weekly basis.

  5. Hubbs you're a loon. You have no idea who I am and I don't know anything about your hacks. Go ahead and give my name I dare you. Just more smoke and mirrors. Maybe you needed a reason or excuse to talk about porn again. Sounds like an addiction. They have a 12 step program for that you should look into it.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I did not state that I know your name LBL, go back and read it. I said I know your payoff bosses name. I bet the LBL is all a coincidence, right. The only one in need of talk of porn is you, quite obviously as to your connections. keep talking that garbage! You are getting nothing, and you can just wonder how I know.

My replies will not at this time be under the blogger log in, as they have hacked some sort of script into secondary email and blogger; remains unknown as to how. Interesting that you required that Costner? If you claim to know all of my log in sources and replies as you said; you wouldn't need that now would you-to identify it is me.

How entirely twisted is your mind, Costner?

    ReplyDelete
  7. You know Mr. Hubbs I probably shouldn't post your comments because we all know it won't go anywhere... but I sort of want to see how this all plays out. Hopefully LBL will entertain us.

I don't buy your excuses about being hacked because the simple truth is the Blogger logins don't always work. Not even for me - that is just the nature of the beast and a lot of it has to do with your browser. Maybe you should try Firefox instead of that IE garbage.

It seems any time you have a technical problem you immediately jump on the "OMG it must be hackers!" BS... but sometimes things just don't work. Not everything is some massive conspiracy Mr. Hubbs. You really need to take a step back and think about how idiotic you sound.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh ...no editor, that is not what I am referring to at all. I said nothing about that it didn't work. I did not give you any specific details about what the issue surrounds; and you won't be getting any. You were only informed about why I wasn't using the blogger acct, as you had requested for some odd reason.

As I said, they apparently have access to hack codes or some sort of application either through blogger or the connected email. They were earlier clearly in there and shut down my systems until it was logged off. What knowledge do you actually have editor, to make any accessment of what goes on at all?

They apparently HAVE hacked what I told you they did, and right into your blog, Costner! Seen it twice. Plain and simple. Then a while later that said reply post and the links are gone. Either you are entirely missing that, or you are involved; which is it? Why would it be taken down, then put back up? Because, what is there is fraud and it is also illegal.

You clearly either haven't a clue, or you are involved; only one of two ways it could be. Your agenda is rapidly failing on all levels; you just refuse to see it and admit it. Wake up.

It is actually you editor that needs to take a step back and think about how idiotic ...you look!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. LBL is also involved with that hack of your own blog...FOOL! Or are YOU involved? No, I think you arent involved, you are just not realizing what goes on, period.

    ReplyDelete
  10. You're an idiot Mr. Hubbs. A paranoid idiot... but still an idiot.

Nobody has ever hacked you. Nobody has ever hacked my blog. If you "seen it", then it was probably another figment of your imagination... either that or you were just drunk again.

Just more accusations from a man who can never prove anything. Wish I could say I'm surprised - but from a paranoid conspiracy theorist with a persecution complex I suppose it should be expected.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I seem to be rather popular here.

Hubbs you said "do you want his name" was sure looked like you were talking about me. Now you are saying his name is a payoff bosses name? What is a payoff boss exactly?

But go ahead and name names because I don't care. You don't know me or anything about me and that isn't about to change just because you make something up. So go for it buddy.

Also I never hacked anyone's blog or website or blogger acount or anything else. Sounds like editor is right on this one and you are paranoid or just making things up. Oh and he is also right about you being an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  12. You'll have to excuse Mr. Hubbs. He has been making claims about people paying to harrass, stalk, hack, follow, or otherwise annoy him for years.

He has even gone so far as to claim people were paid to "take him out". At one time it was $5,000, another time it was $15,000, and at one point he even said something about the CEO of Sanford being involved all the way up to a $75,000 payout.

I hate to break it to Mr. Hubbs, but that is about $74,998 more than he is worth. I guess he has a rather high opinion of himself, and his ego grows with time so he has to keep raising the pricetag to match.

I find it comical that he has NEVER been able to provide even one single tidbit of evidence to support any of his wild conspiracy theories. He just magically knows all of this because obviously it makes sense to tell the target of your stalking or hacking or whatever that you are paying others to mess with him right?

Mr. Hubbs is a legend in his own mind, but sadly as is the case with all of his other stories... it is all fiction and never has any evidence to support it.

Don't bother denying it or trying to explain it because it won't matter to Mr. Hubbs. He is a conspiracy theorist, and no amount of factual evidence or logic will sway the opinion of a crazy person.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Mr Editor, [Costner]; and LBL. Please put forth any proof information providing your evidence that what I claim is fact is not fact. It clearly seems to me that you are both very angry people, that do nothing but make endless denial of what I know. How would you know anything at all editor [Costner]; if it were truth or false? Why would anyone lie like me lie about what they know takes or took place. But no, you must make it appear as if the opponent is crazy. It is the only game you have or ever had. You are flat out scum Costner. Is that what we need more of in our society?

Off the track a bit in this mix; but directly related; let me ask you, what would all the parents of the vaccine damaged children respond to that, and as to you?

Mr. Editor, [Costner]. Do you not see that it is you that is the in denial - lunatic? This lying rant that you and LBL just put forth. You are clearly and entirely insane. Your world of lies and endless denial is the only game going on with you. You have obviously gone entirely mad Costner, because you can not defend your position against anything; and never could. All you can do is put forth more twisted lies and falsely again and again attack the messenger.

You obviously and certainly as well can not defend your position on vaccines and modern medicine; other than to repeatedly deny the truth. Your game gets sicker with each and every blog page and reply post. How impressive is that, what you have here. Only in your minds is that some sort of success. Its flat out sick. You don't have a clue Costner as to me personally and what has gone on with anything; just admit it. The only way you could deny anything is as said, is to have been involved; thus falsely as always then attempting to make a mockery of fact. You see your entire agenda surrounds mockery of fact. What an honorable person you. What kind of person would take an active role in that? Your credibility holds as much certain truth probability as does having any hope of a cork stopping a case of the severe diahrrea.

Watch me get bailed out next week on a million dollar bail, if you think nothings true! Keep watchin the news.

  14. LBL? What happened to that truck today on the way to Pipestone? Riley is sure a nice guy isn't he, and he knew. That dirty cop in SF and the payoff of the DA in Pipestone. Yup, it must happen in Pipestone County, so that dirty nest of B.S. can be covered up. Amazing what big money can buy, isn't it?

I don't fear death LBL; this is a war, and on and for information that the public deserves to have to make the proper decisions. No different than any other war that has been, in my opinion as to the mission. You people are now putting innocent people at major risk, as you have done before. You could care less what is right and wrong; all that matters is you and money. Seems a bit hypocritical to accuse me of being involved with porn suggesting child porn LBK; [which I have never been]. That, when you are connected to those people that have manufactured massive amounts of child porn and even killed children and teens in their sex acts of perversion. You are the sickest most vile and low level people on planet earth; as a fact; and you have been getting away with all of it. The desperate sickness and the denial in your comments is all to obvious; both of you.

    ReplyDelete
  15. " Please put forth any proof information providing your evidence that what I claim is fact is not fact."

Nope. Sorry Mr. Hubbs... it doesn't work like that. How many times do we need to go over this? If you make an accusation you need to support it. It is not anyone else's duty to prove you wrong because you have yet to prove anything in the first place.

Honestly trying to debate you is like having a discussion with a first grader. Granted that is probably an insult to first graders, but obviously you are incapable of understanding even the simplest of concepts.

Clearly I don't need to make you look crazy... you're doing a bang-up job of that one all by your lonesome.

As to your comment about getting bailed out - I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but does that mean you are about to get arrested again? If so, congratulations! Not sure how you would get bailed out on a million dollar bail however... unless working in a meat packing plant pays a lot better than I thought.

I think I'm going to put an end to your rants now. It seems clear you are just going off the deep end and I don't really want to contribute. Best of luck in prison if that is where you end up.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I should note your accusations towards LBL or whoever you claim is involved in some massive conspiracy against you hold no merit... because as is the case EVERY SINGLE TIME you make such accusations, you never seem to be able to prove anything.

Have you thought about trying to write some fiction? Because you seem to have quite the imagination. If you decide to go that route I would recommend you get yourself a good editor... because your grammar and spelling are horrid.

By all means though if you actually and honestly believe anyone is involved in production of child porn, or if you think you know of people who have been involved in killing others... I dunno - maybe CALL THE POLICE!!!!!

I'm sorry Mr. Hubbs. There is just no nice way to say this.... you sir are a complete and total moron. I am honestly surprised you haven't drown in the bathtub yet because someone with your level of brain-power surely isn't capable of performing even the most basic of tasks without causing yourself bodily harm.

You simply amaze me, but I think we're done with this discussion since you can't seem to get beyond unsupported accusations. Big surprise there.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Am I supposed to know Riley? Is that a first name or a last name? Sorry Hubbs but I don't now anyone by that name so I guess you missed.

Heck I don't think I have ever been to Pipestone. The city or the county as far as I know. I'd say you don't know anything about me or you have me confused with someone else. This is why you can't prove anything because you don't even know who you are talking to.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh and what is that crap about Hubbs being bailed out on a million dollar bond? He says watch the news so does that mean he plans on getting arrested? What is that all about? Is this guy nuts enough to go out and kill someone or what? I can't think of many things that would cause a judge to impose a million dollar bond.

What a nutjob. I got 20 bones on this being another story he is making up.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Who knows with Hubbs. He makes up so many stories I imagine even he gets confused sometimes. When asked for evidence he just scurries into the darkness and says he doesn't have to prove anything. I guess in his world proof doesn't matter... his word should be good enough.

Is it any wonder why this guy is considered a joke and why he will never be taken seriously? He is a legend in his own mind, but to everyone else he is a distraction and a constant source of entertainment.
